 As most architects work for fixed fees for their clients, so do we. We have the experience and know how to understand what needs to go into a quality set of drawings.  For those areas which may seem grey, we have the knowledge and ability to answer and clarify. 

RMH Drafting & Consulting Ltd. prides itself on being an extension of the Architect.  As such, we can provide services ranging from preliminary layouts all the way through to construction drawings, and even contract management. We have a strong understanding of the Calgary Land Use Bylaws as well as the Alberta Building Code.  

There are many questions that a owner has. The best first step is to call us and have a conversation. Conversations are free, but can offer a great deal of information.  RMH Drafting & Consulting Ltd. has successfully completed many home additions and new homes.  We have the experience to understand what each project will require and what it doesn't.  Our services for home projects include:

Preliminary Design, Development Permits, Building Permits, 3D Renderings and Project Assessment.

As a Contractor, you may have a project you have obtained, but simply need drawings you can display to your client and to get the necessary permits.   

RMH Drafting & Consulting Ltd. has successfully completed a variety of new homes and home additions for residential contractors, TI work for commercial, as well as new small commercial buildings. We have the experience to understand what each project will require. We enjoy working with contractors, and go the extra mile to develop great designs for the client.

 Although not conventionally trained in Engineering drafting, our extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and experience allows us to quickly draft up documents that you may require.       

We know it is a valuable skill to be able to fully understand the drawings behind each discipline, and how they impact each other. There is more to a set of drawings then just being able to decipher what is what on a page, but rather why is it placed there and what it really does.

 Sometimes a developer has questions about land use or what will fit on a project, but feels it's too soon to engage an Architect. RMH Drafting & Consulting Ltd. can easily assist.   

Some projects don't even require an Architect due to their size or simplicity, and we can assist with these.  We have the experience to work with the developer to go from initial design, all the way through to construction drawings, as well as contract management if required. ​

We can evaluate projects after an event, and then provide the necessary services to get to the important step of reconstruction to allow the affected parties to move on with their lives.  RMH Drafting & Consulting Ltd. has worked on numerous types of insurance projects such as: Restaurant/Hotels, Commercial, Multi-Family Residential, Single Family Residential.

Where necessary, we work with other consultants to ensure the project is expedited quickly through the Municipality.
